Freshmen are only eligible for dual credit with instructor approval. To qualify students must complete appropriate applications, and placement testing as required. These agreements are reviewed on regular basis and subject to change based on qualifications. All COD dual credit opportunities are pending formal agreement between IPSD and COD. COD grants all college credits, therefore, students should contact COD for final dual credit transcripts after course completion. Curriculum, syllabi, and textbooks also meet college guidelines.įor College of DuPage (COD) dual credit, tuition and fees are waived, and a COD transcript is generated. Courses are taught by high school instructors who are approved by the college.

Teachers will have opportunities to practice the modeled strategies, to analyze their practice, to provide and receive feedback, and to reflect on their experiences. Throughout the course, effective research-based strategies will be modeled. This course is designed to promote continuous improvement in educator practice and to build teacher’s confidence and familiarity with research-proven practices for working with ELLs. The course focuses on current theories and evidence-based instructional practices related to the teaching of ELLs. The SEI Teacher Endorsement course is 100% online via Zoom and Canvas (Learning Management System).
